NPSS Case file review service Webinar - FREE - 11 December 2019
This webinar provides an overview of the NPSS Case file review service
The purpose of 360 degree case file reviews is to participate in a structured assessment of the way in which local authorities administer their housing options and hmelessness duties as set out in the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017. The review process supports local authorities to ensure that the best possible outcomes for the customer are being achieved, that staff are supported and appropriate training identified and delivered.
Case file reviews will, through a detailed snapshot assessment, highlight gaps in service provision, recognise good practice and make recommendations for improvement both at individual officer and team level. Fundamentally, the case file reviews act as a 'critical friend' assessment of how a local authority is performaing in its efforts to both prevent and tackle homelessness.
Participating in the 360 degree case file review process offers local authorities the opportunity for an objective assessment of the effectiveness of their service delivery and the opportunity to improve and learn from the review process as they seek to improve service delivery.
