The NPSS National Conference 2019 returns to the fantastic Oculus building at the University of Warwick in Coventry for the fifth year. The 2019 conference promises to provide a high quality programme that focuses on the Homelessness Reduction Act fifteen months on; enabling local authorities and partners to continue the learning, sharing and challenges of embedding the Act within their services.
The agenda continues with the common theme of preventing and tackling homelessness through early intervention and promoting partnership and community involvement. There will be more workshop choices this year over the two days, with some excellent and relevant topics to choose from and opportunities to discuss topics with speakers throughout the two days.
The 2019 conference continues to provide the perfect platform and timely opportunity to share experiences and good practice, network with colleagues and hear from a variety of experts in the sector.
Don't just take our word for it; here's what some of last year's conference delegates said:
"Excellent again - an inspiration! My fourth conference and still fresh and engaging"
"Informative, relevant and cost effective.... The best housing options and homelessness conference there is delivered by a team dedicated to their cause..."

Make a Stand
We are delighted this year to welcome Jim Strang, CIH President as our pre-dinner speaker. Jim will be talking about Make a Stand which was launched in May 2018 by the Chartered Institute of Housing in partnership with Women’s Aid and the Domestic Abuse Housing Allowance. It calls on social housing providers to sign up to four practical commitments to support residents and staff experiencing domestic abuse. Since the launch more than 320 landlords have signed up and in April 2019 the pledge was extended to allow organisations working closely with the housing sector such as contractors, suppliers and trade bodies to Make a Stand against domestic abuse too.
