Domestic abuse awareness

This course was developed in 2016 to support HM Government’s Ending Violence against Women and Girls strategy 2016-2020. This course covers the nature of abuse, national policy, legislation and guidance, the court system and legal remedies, case law, prevention options and good practice examples.

Why attend?

The VAWG strategy recognises the importance of national and local government, local partners, agencies and communities work together to prevent women and girls from becoming victims of domestic abuse. This course supports local authorities to ensure victims are able to access the right support at the right time.

NPSS courses are available in house for a minimum of 15 delegates. Courses are charged at just £76 ex. VAT per delegate.
