Implementing the Homelessness Reduction Act

A popular course which guides delegates through the requirements of the Homelessness Reduction Act using the NPSS Homelessness Reduction Act flowchart which has been legally checked by Liz Davies. This course also looks at personalised housing plans and written advice, developing effective referral pathways, securing corporate commitment and top tips for accessing the private rented sector.

The Homelessness Reduction Act is the biggest change to housing legislation in 20 years. This course supports local authorities to not only understand this complex piece of new legislation but to begin considering what will need to be put in place to implement the provisions of the Act.

Courses can be arranged in 2 ways ;

1. Courses are available in house for a minimum of 10 internal delegates, but the room must accommodate 20 delegates (NPSS will be responsible for arranging the additional 10 delegates). The Courses are charged at just £76 ex. VAT per delegate.

2. A course can be  arranged in house at a total cost of £850 ex. VAT + trainer expenses, with the authority or organisation confirming how many delegates they would like to attend , with a minimum 5 and a maximum of 20 delegates on each course.. 

All courses will need the authority or organisation to provide the room and related equipment, water and tea/coffee at registration and break times.
